IROS 2025 is in full swing in Hangzhou. As one of the “top twin stars” in the global robotics field, this conference focuses on full-stack exploration from perception and control to system implementation, with simulation technology being a hot topic at this year’s exhibition.
The industry generally believes that simulation can bridge the key link in embodied intelligence from “algorithm feasibility” to “initial adaptation to reality,” effectively reducing training and trial-and-error costs, and providing support for subsequent real-world testing and iteration of robots.
Embodied intelligence industry leader GENISOM AI has also brought the world’s first high-fidelity MATRiX simulation training platform to the IROS site.
In the field of robot simulation, high fidelity has always been a key link in the R&D process. High-fidelity simulation creates a virtual environment that is highly consistent with the real world (such as details like lighting, materials, and physical collisions), allowing robots to simulate real operations in virtual scenarios.
However, in high-fidelity simulation, pursuing precise simulation of physical motion often compromises visual effects. Pursuing photorealistic scene rendering makes it difficult to balance the realism of dynamics. Until the emergence of the MATRiX robot simulation platform, high-fidelity simulation finally has a new solution.
