Twenty years ago, renowned AI futurist Ray Kurzweil shocked the world with his "Singularity" theory, predicting that artificial intelligence would surpass human intelligence by 2045, ushering in an era of accelerated self-evolution.

This once seemingly distant futuristic vision has now become a core belief driving the technological wave, particularly in the field of humanoid robotics, where it is sparking a profound transformation.

A few years ago, Kurzweil decided to take matters into his own hands. In 2018, he co-founded Beyond Imagination with the versatile scientist, entrepreneur, and filmmaker Dr. Harry Kloor.

Their vision is ambitious—to harness the power of artificial intelligence to significantly enhance the efficiency of physical labor and lower its barriers, thereby creating a future where everyone can live a prosperous, healthy, and productive life.

Recently, according to Reuters, the startup announced a $100 million Series B funding round led exclusively by venture capital firm Gauntlet Ventures, valuing the company at $500 million, injecting strong momentum into its development.

Beyond Imagination has developed a multimodal, all-purpose AI brain called Beomni AI. This is not just a software program but an intelligent core capable of powering humanoid robots (such as its flagship product, Beyond Bot) and other robotic systems.

The uniqueness of Beomni AI lies in its learning capability—it can, like the human brain, gradually master tasks through practice, progressing from proficiency in individual tasks to eventually mastering entire professional domains. Its purpose is to fundamentally transform the reliance on manual physical labor.
